Low Immersion Dyeing, and Direct Fabric Dyeing

Fabric dyeing is done in jars, called low immersion. In the afternoon students will dye fabric or tee-shirts using direct fabric dyeing methods.

Come and Paint

This one day workshop goes over different paints used for fabrics. Different methods of painting, we will be sun printing a fat quarter with snow flakes or students own choice.

3, 6 & 12 Go Quilt Go

One to two day class. Two days are needed to finish quilt.
Make a quilt using 3”, 6” & 12” blocks, no mess!  Students will decide on the number of 9-patch blocks and design their own layouts.  In one day, students will be nearly finished with a pieced top. Sewing machine necessary.

Discharge Dyeing and Fabric Markers

One to two day class.
Students will learn different methods of discharge dyeing, by using stamps, stencils, brushes and found objects. Painting with fabric markers and fabric ink.
